  At her house, Maka sat in her recliner, a look of depression and sadness on her face. She didn't know what to do. Her mind was lingering over Crona. Rachel sat down on the couch next to her. Much like Maka, she too was trapped in depression. There was nothing either of them could do for Crona. They had no idea where to look. It was Soul that broke the silence upon entering the room. "I hate seeing you like this" he said. "You know we're doing everything we can. There's just only so much we can do with what we have." "I know" she replied. "But I want him back, to hold him again." Soul sat down on the couch. "I know" he said. Rachel looked to the sad meister. She put her hand over Maka's. "Somehow, Maka, we'll get Crona back" she said softly. "I promise you that much." That was enough to bring Maka's gaze to Rachel, a very small smile glowing like a beacon of light in a dim world. It wasn't very long ago that Maka had met Rachel, yet within that time, they had grown to become good friends. "Thank you" she said. Rachel nodded to her. "It's the least I could do" she replied. "You're good children."


  The three heard a knock in the door and Soul went to answer it. He opened the door to find Kid. "Hello" Kid said. "I just wanted to see how you guys were." He entered and took a seat. "After I told my father about what happened to Crona, he made sure to send a squad into the forest to investigate. I'm afraid it's as Kaguya said. Asura already moved out of there." A long period of silence clouded the room as Maka hung her head. Kid then jolted a bit, as if remembering something. "What's today" Kid asked quickly. "Uuhh it's Friday" Soul answered. "Well in that case, there's some good news" Kid said.

  Liz and Patty lead Kaguya through the mall, making sure not to let her walk behind them so not to lose her in the crowd. They managed to find a good wardrobe for the clown. She wore a black breast-cancer shirt, a pair of jean shorts, some black sandels, and a red kitty hat with paw-like mittens dangling from it. Kaguya looked around frantically, so many things grabbing her attention. Occasionally, the Thompson sisters needed to pry the clown's face off of the window of a few pet stores. Kaguya was very much like a curious child being so easily dazzled.


  The three settled a small cafe, Liz and Patty only having medium coffee with a cinnamon bun,while Kaguya had three large chocolate mocha milkshakes, two pieces of chocolate cake, two cinnamon buns and a peanut butter cup. The Thompson sisters couldn't help but watch Kaguya inhale the hill of sweets. "How can you eat that much sweets and stay that thin" Liz brought up? It took a moment for Kaguya to finish scarfing down her second piece of cake before speaking. "This is the first time I ever partook in such an activity" she replied. Liz couldn't help but feel even more confused. Eating as an activity? Does that mean that Clowns don't depend on food? "So your meister, what got him so interested in symmetry" Kaguya asked? Liz just gave a shrug. "I honestly have no idea" she replied. "And our meister does have a name it's kid. I'm Liz and this is my little sister, Patty." "I am Kaguya" the clown introduced. "So what you mentioned when we met you, about Asura finding you worthless, is that what brought you here" Liz asked curiously? Kaguya's expression turned sad, but she nodded. "Yes" she confirmed. "I wanted so much to make him happy, to prove what I'm capable of. I have no chance for that now though. ...But meeting this... Kid, every other opponent I faced was easily swayed by my body, making it easy to kill them. But Kid, he showed no interest in me. Now because of that, I feel... something. I can't really explain it, but it's like... a burning feeling, an alluring feeling." Kaguya noticed that Liz an Patty were smirking. "That there is love" Liz said. "You love Kid" Patty added. Kaguya felt her face grow warm as she began to blush. "That's what love is" she asked? The sisters gave a nod. "But there's just one problem here" Liz noted. "Kid's already spoken for" Kaguya didn't understand at first. "It means I'm his girlfriend" She clarified, causing Kaguya to blush even more. "Oh, I'm really sorry" she apologized. "I want you to know I would never want to take him away from you." The clown grew somewhat shaky, giving Liz big puppy-dog eyes. "B-but ...could it... be possible that... I... be..."


  Suddenly a woman came up to the girls. "Excuse me" she said. "Are you Liz and Patty Thompson?" "Uh ya." Liz answered. "Maka told me about you in her letters" the woman said. "See, I'm her mother, Kami Albarn."
