Yah, the idea of Ryuko and Satsuki as adults in Kamuis kinda expanded in potential story, spawning the idea that in a separate timeline, Ragyo found a means to aid her life fiber invasion through tampering with the fabric of reality, which would lead to teenage Ryuko and Satsuki from how the series officially ended, coming face to face with adult versions of them from a timeline in which that epic battle grew into an ongoing war.
